Description
The SRAM MSR-80TC "Reppuu" (烈風) is a tubular-tip ajing rod built to punch heavyweight M-Caro rigs far offshore even against strong winter north winds. It is one of two sibling rods in the SRAM MSR series that share the same power rank but differ only in length, letting anglers pick the one that suits their field and handling preference.
High-elasticity and medium-elasticity carbon are blended for torque and high rebound, giving a cast feel that loads the M-Caro rig through the butt section and sends it solidly out to sea. The blank also delivers sharp, positive action against the load of deep-water pressure on the retrieve, and suits small, low-impact float rigs as well — ranking it among the higher-power, longer-casting models in TICT's ajing rod line-up.
Length 8'0" (244.5cm), 2-piece, closed length 126cm, weight 78g, tip diameter 1.2mm, butt diameter 9.8mm, tubular tip, PE line #0.3–0.6, rig weight 1–12g.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
