VILAYER DG NEXIS is the next evolution of tailwalk's digital counter baitcasting reel, with one-touch spool replacement and a large LCD display.

Targets: tai-rubber, light jigging, ikametal, small-medium pelagics.

Materials: carbon handle, high-grade duralumin gears, ceramic ball bearings, aluminum machine-cut knobs (double handle) or EVA knob (power handle), aluminum star drag.

The drivetrain

Higher-grade materials than the standard Vilayer DG — duralumin gears and ceramic bearings — give the Nexis a smoother, more direct retrieve feel, with one-touch spool replacement and the same large LCD depth display carried over.

What it's built for

Aimed at the same precision-depth fishing styles as the standard Vilayer DG — tai-rubber, light jigging, ikametal and small-to-medium pelagics — for anglers who want a lighter, higher-spec digital counter reel.

How it fishes

Use the depth counter to return to a productive strike zone repeatedly, and the aluminium machine-cut knobs (double handle) or EVA knob (power handle) for a secure grip through repeated jigging strokes.

Spools and spares

Pair the 100HG-DH with a light jigging or tai-rubber rod on PE0.8–1.5, or the single-handle 100HG-PH for faster ikametal-style work on the same line class.
