Description

STEALZ is tailwalk's tough offshore spinning reel, built around "reeling in until the end." The body and rotor are aluminum, the drive shaft, main drive gear and pinion gear are stainless steel, and the drag stack uses carbon washers for heat resistance, running on 7BB+1RB stainless bearings with a machine-cut aluminum drag knob and a screw-in handle.

This listing stocks the 8000 (5.6:1, 535g, 11kg max drag, PE4-300m) and 14000 (4.7:1, 725g, 20kg max drag, PE6-300m) models.

Target species: seabass, Spanish mackerel, amberjack, greater amberjack, bonito, dolphinfish, rockfish, tuna, kingfish and GT, for offshore casting, jigging, shore jigging and rocky shore fishing.

Note: the reel foot may not fit rod seats sized #18 or smaller — check compatibility before use.

The drivetrain

An aluminium body and rotor keep the Stealz stiff under load, with a stainless drive shaft, main gear and pinion gear driving a smooth retrieve even at maximum drag, and a carbon-washer drag stack that resists heat build-up through long, hard runs.

What it's built for

Built as a tough offshore spinning reel for casting, jigging, shore jigging and rocky-shore fishing, covering seabass, Spanish mackerel, amberjack, greater amberjack, bonito, dolphinfish, rockfish, tuna, kingfish and GT — the 8000 for everyday offshore work and the 14000 for genuinely big fish.

How it fishes

Suits both a fast-retrieve popping and stickbait game and slower jigging work, with 7BB+1RB stainless bearings keeping the retrieve consistent under sand, salt and repeated big-fish runs. Check reel-seat fit before use, as the reel foot may not suit rod seats #18 or smaller.

Spools and spares

Pair the 8000 with a PE4-rated casting or jigging rod and 60–80 lb leader, or the 14000 with a heavier PE6-class rod and 100 lb-plus leader for GT and large amberjack.

When does my order leave Japan?

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
