L-JIGGYS BM is tailwalk's Basic Model light jigging rod, built with a tubular blank wrapped in X-pattern carbon tape to suppress rod twist during casting and fighting, regular action, a Fuji Top SiC tip guide with Alconite ring guides on stainless frames, and tailwalk's own Z-SHAPE reel seat.

Targets: beltfish, small-medium pelagics, red seabream, rockfish, seabass.

X-pattern carbon tape wrapping suppresses rod twist through the cast and fight, so the L-Jiggys BM tracks a jig straight on the drop and holds its line under a big fish's first surge, with a tubular blank tuned to a regular action.

What it's built for

A light-jigging boat rod for working metal jigs over structure and open water for beltfish, small-to-medium pelagics, red seabream, rockfish and seabass, with the C631 suited to lighter 120g jigs and the C632 stepping up to 150g for deeper or faster drifts.

How it fishes

Work jigs on a rhythmic lift-and-fall or short jerk-and-pause, using the Fuji Alconite guides' low friction to keep jig action crisp through the retrieve. The Z-shape reel seat keeps a low, stable grip for repeated jigging strokes over a session.

The setup it likes

Pair with a small-to-mid baitcasting reel rated to the rod's drag figure, spooled with PE 1.5–2.0 and a 25–30 lb fluorocarbon leader for structure and reef fishing.
