Description

The Elan Wide Power Plus is a wide-body casting reel built for pure throwing power. A centre main frame and gear-side plate in all-diecast aluminium (palming side cup in graphite resin) carry a smooth 12kg max drag, while a 39mm spool diameter and 10+1 corrosion-resistant bearings are aimed at casting magnum-class baits at big bass, snakehead, catfish, seabass, jack and rockfish. This 71L is the 7.1:1 high-gear, left-hand-retrieve version, built for fast line pickup on shore games and rock-fishing.

It carries a 100mm carbon-crank double handle, a dial-type centrifugal brake system with a reinforced brake ring, a synchro level-wind system to reduce line damage, and a click lever that alerts you audibly on a strike. Drag max is 12kg with a capacity of PE3-260m, and a neoprene reel cover is included.
