Description
TROUTIN' SPIN LAGLESS BORON (トラウティンスピン ラグレスボロン) is Smith's dedicated twitching rod for heavy sinking minnows, built for zero time-lag response between angler and lure.
The blank uses a lightweight 24t+30t+40t graphite + boron + woven graphite construction matched to an extra-small K-guide setup. The small guides eliminate line flutter and guide-weight inertia wobble, so angler intent reaches the lure instantly. Bringing the line closer to the blank also sharply improves sensitivity during twitching, reeling and casting, while the reduced weight gives a sharp, front-heavy-free balance. A smaller casting loop cuts wind resistance for consistent distance.
The reel seat uses natural wood with an original fitting system that protects the reel foot from scratches and play.
All models are spinning; guides are Fuji titanium-frame SiC K-guides throughout.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
