The Shimano 26 Soare BB is a light saltwater spinning reel built for finesse games like ajing and light rock fishing, offering a smooth retrieve feel that helps anglers detect subtle bites from small saltwater species. The range is fitted with handle knobs matched to each size: a compact, lightweight I-type knob on the 500SPG for casting accuracy with light lures, and a thicker I-type knob on the C2000 sizes for a confident grip when a larger fish strikes.

The C2000SSHG variant carries a gear ratio of 6.0, a practical drag force of 1 kg and a maximum drag force of 3 kg, weighing in at 180 g. Across the range the Soare BB shares a long handle arm for stable, consistent winding.
