Description

The Mono Guard Vespa takes Ryugi's finesse Vespa jighead and adds a weed guard, letting anglers who fish 4lb-and-under lines push tighter into cover than the standard Vespa allows. To handle the extra hooking force a guarded head demands, the hook keeps the same #2 size but steps up to a thicker wire diameter than the original Vespa, so it can stand up to a firmer fight around structure.

Like the standard Vespa, it uses a horizontal line eye so the knot position doesn't shift forward or back during use, and a small, secure worm keeper for a stable, consistent action. This size 2 comes in 0.6g, 0.9g, 1.3g and 1.8g weights.
