Description

The Ryugi HWB078 Weighted Brutal is a TC-coated, oversized version of the Weighted Pierce, built on the Pierce Hook Brutal platform with an integrated weight added to the shank. The weight's position, shape and mass carry over Weighted Pierce's swimming-balance tuning, refined for use with big worms. Available in 6/0 (3/32oz / 2.7g) and 7/0 (1/8oz / 3.5g), both finished in TC Black.

It's built to handle large shad-tail worms and stick baits rigged for swimming presentations, sliding cleanly through weed and cover thanks to the weighted balance point. The Pierce Hook lineage carries through in the wire's spring-back resistance, keeping the point from opening out under load once it's set.
