The swimming action

RCファットスティック ("Fat Stick") is a soft plastic stick bait from Rodio Craft, offered here in two colourways. Like other stick-style soft plastics, its subtle side-to-side shimmy comes from the material and profile rather than a paddle tail or added action.

When to throw it

A general-purpose bass soft plastic for weightless, wacky or Texas-rig presentations around cover, docks and weed edges where a slow, natural fall draws bites from cautious fish.

How to work it

Fish it weightless for a slow gliding fall, wacky-rigged for a shimmying fall on both ends, or Texas-rigged through cover with a slow drag-and-pause retrieve.

The setup it likes

Suits a medium spinning or baitcast bass outfit, 10–14 lb fluorocarbon or braid with a fluorocarbon leader, matched to the cover being fished.
