Little Diner Powale (リトルダイナー ポワレ) is Palms' topwater entry in its Area Trout Little Diner range, built around a silhouette meant to draw bites from the moment it lands. Topwater fishing runs a comparatively long productive season in area trout play, since surface bubbles and ripples add a spice underwater lures cannot. To solve the common case where trout snap up insects and fallen leaves off the surface yet ignore a floating lure, Powale is built entirely around buoyancy: a thinned body wall and a removed weight room give it a deliberately high-floating body, and the speed of its rise together with its shallow floating depth trigger frequent bites right at landing.

The large mouth is shaped as a wake-bait type for a strong water grip and a fast start to the swim, widening the approach across both the surface and the layer just beneath it — ripples from rod work, popping on strong jerks, or a wake on a straight retrieve. Its inverted-triangle body keeps balance even against off-angle side bites that are normally hard to hook, guiding fish smoothly onto the hook for a higher hook-up rate. A wide darter cup grips water hard for a broad range of actions, and the fully high-float design maximises air room by removing the weight room and thinning the body walls. Palms packs it in a bright, fluorescent-colour blister pack.
