Description
BAYMATIC is Palms' bay-area boat game special rod, easily identified by its matte-blue blank. The blank pairs the excitement of hitting pinpoint casts unique to bay fishing with enough backbone to handle a large seabass's torque-heavy fight.
The lineup is spinning-model led to suit the long-distance game style now common in bay areas, with a heavy-class baitcasting model added for big-bait anglers and a Sawara Custom model added for sawara (Japanese Spanish mackerel) as a newer target. Blanks use Palms' X Carbonology cross-wrap reinforcement, grips combine cork and EVA, and reel seats are ACS (baitcasting) or an up-lock VSS (spinning) with aluminum ring accents and rubber end caps.
