The Palms Egeria NATIVE PERFORMANCE (エゲリア ネイティブパフォーマンス) is the 4th-generation, fully model-changed edition of Palms' native-trout rod series. Development restarted from material selection: the short-length carbon (Comfort Shoot IV) models mainly use a medium-modulus material for pinpoint short-range accuracy while still feeling the lure's weight through the bend, the long-length carbon models step down one modulus rank from the previous generation for a more elegant casting feel, and glass (Comfort Glass) models round out the line-up with Palms' own sharp-casting character.
Natural wood is used for both the reel seat and foregrip across the range. The line spans multiple lengths and actions, from the ultralight EFNS-39XUL (3ft.9in, 2pc, Power XUL, 0.5-5g lures, 1-4lb line, 61g) for small mountain streams and headwaters, up through heavier Comfort Shoot IV and Comfort Glass spinning and baitcasting models built for larger rivers, lakes, and bigger trout.

What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
