Description

A PE assist line built for tai-rabu (kabura) rigs, with just enough body to move in sync with the skirt (nekutai) rather than flailing around and tangling with the leader, jig head or skirt as looser lines can. This is achieved with a fluorocarbon core built into the line using an interlocking ("oiuchi") construction, leaving no gap between core and sheath.

The fluorocarbon core also resists loosening at the knot, and the line is offered across a range of ratings from small hooks up to large, giving anglers scope to build their own tai-rabu rigs to their own spec.

Are hook and jig head sizes the same across brands?

No — sizes aren't standardised between Japanese makers. Size to the lure you're rigging and check the brand's own size chart; the measurements on the listing are the honest reference.

The colour looks slightly different from my last spool — is that normal?

Yes. Dye batches on braid and finishes on painted heads vary between production runs. It's cosmetic and doesn't change the spec.
