Description

The Owner B-80 Bulky Spear is a gaff-shaped worm hook whose point rides at a sharply upward angle, so the point stands up in a bass's mouth the instant it takes the bait, before the strike has even loaded the rod. Owner designed this shape for bulky and craw-style worms, where a conventional offset point can be smothered by the worm's thickness and fail to hook up.

It is built on heavy-gauge wire for handling larger fish, and the point rides clear of the worm body for a more direct hookset. This is the 1/0 size (Owner code 11680).
