Description
Nishine Smelthead (ニシネ スメルトヘッド) is a swim bait jig head from Nishine Lure Works built for multiple techniques — casting and retrieving, or vertical jigging.
On the retrieve it swims in a slightly head-down posture to hold its depth range, with the tail riding a touch higher than the head so bottom contact doesn't scuff the paddle and interrupt the swimming action. Fished vertically, the head holds a horizontal posture for presentation and its front-heavy shape lets it sink quickly through the water column. Eye angle is set at 90 degrees.
Available in 1/8oz (paired with a #1 hook), 2/7oz, 3/7oz and 5/8oz (each offered with #2/0 or #4/0 hooks).
