Information

The swimming action

The saltwater-hardware GORHAM keeps the same twin-balancer construction as the freshwater original, driving a wide, rolling wake across the surface with a slow, steady retrieve and an extra treble for saltwater-grade hook-ups.

When to throw it

Calm harbour mouths, river mouths and flats at dawn, dusk or through the night when seabass are feeding on the surface, and in coloured water where a big, slow wake bait draws fish from a distance.

How to work it

Wind it dead slow and steady to build the wake; add occasional pauses near structure or current seams and let the bait settle before resuming — a crawl, not a burn, keeps the action honest.

The setup it likes

A 8'6"-9'6" seabass spinning rod rated for 20-40g lures pairs well, with a 3000-4000 reel, 1.2-1.5 PE braid and a 20-25lb fluorocarbon leader for abrasion resistance around structure.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
