Description

LUSTER BLADE (ラスターブレード) is a bass Alabama-rig style multi-blade bait carrying 18 blades that increase in size progressively from the centre arms outward, producing flash and water disturbance for what Jackall calls a "fish-catching sense of resistance" (釣れる抵抗感). It has a swivel line eye to stop line twist and a screw-cap design that lets the rig fold flat for transport, with a weight eye fitted as standard for depth adjustment; two spare screw caps are included.

LUSTER BLADE is an Alabama-rig style umbrella bait carrying 18 blades that increase in size from the centre arms outward, throwing off flash and water disturbance as it's retrieved.

When to throw it

Open water over baitfish schools, when bass are keyed on shad and a wide-profile reaction bait can pull fish from a distance.

How to work it

A straight, steady to moderate retrieve is enough to work all the blades; the screw-cap head folds flat between casts and a weight eye lets the whole rig be tuned shallower or deeper.

A heavy-power (MH-H) baitcasting rod built for A-rigs, a 7:1 baitcast reel, and 16-20lb fluorocarbon or braid mainline.
