Description

The Jackall Chibitarel Deadrise is a 130mm, 42g floating joint swimbait built for big-bass presentations. It ships rigged with a front #2 and rear #4 ST-36MF treble, giving a hook-up spread suited to its size class and the aggressive strikes it is designed to draw.

As the compact sibling in the Tarel series, the Deadrise keeps the family's rolling, wide-swimming joint action in a more manageable footprint for boat and bank anglers alike, making it a versatile searchbait for targeting quality bass around cover and open water.

Information

The swimming action

The jointed body rolls through a wide, wobbling swim on a straight or twitched retrieve, with the two-section joint giving a livelier, more natural motion than a rigid single-piece bait of the same size.

When to throw it

A compact big-bass swimbait suited to open water and around cover such as timber, docks and grass lines, where a searchbait presentation can draw aggressive strikes from quality bass without the bulk of a full-size Tarel.

How to work it

Work it on a steady straight retrieve or add occasional twitches to accentuate the joint roll; the front and rear trebles are sized to hold up through the hard strikes this bait is built to draw.

The setup it likes

A medium-heavy to heavy baitcasting rod around 7ft, a reel geared around 6:1-7:1, 14-20lb fluorocarbon or braid with a matching leader suit this bait's casting weight and the hard strikes it is built to draw.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.
