Jackall COUNTER BACK

COUNTER BACK (カウンターバック) is a big spoon designed by pro angler Kyoya Fujita for bass that "only eat a big spoon." Its asymmetrical body doesn't receive water evenly, so instead of fluttering it moves straight into a self-initiated backslide fall, pulling the line out even without tension on it.

The cupped body shape and precise body thickness drive a clean rolling action into an angled backslide fall, tuned to trigger bites quickly while staying at a fall speed bass can catch up to. A face is styled on the hook side of the body, unusual for a big spoon, to suggest a baitfish fleeing toward the bottom. A swivel eye reduces line twist and lost fish, and a tinsel-dressed hook adds action and vibration that helps trigger bites. It measures 120mm and weighs 38g (sinking), and is Feco-certified for JB/NBC tournament use.
