Description
The Gamakatsu Yoihime Round is a light-game jighead from Gamakatsu's Yoihime (Ajing) line, built around a round head shape that catches water consistently for strong range-keeping ability. The water-catching shape produces a moderate pulling sensation that makes line tension easy to hold and transmits the angler's action honestly to the worm, and the whole head catches water on the fall to keep a stable falling posture. It uses Gamakatsu's large-eye Jig 31 hook, which bites securely on light rods and light lines and threads easily at night. Stocked here in weights 0.5g and 2g on hook size #4, plus 2.5g on hook size #3.
Its slightly forward eye position gives strong propulsion and crisp fall response for deliberate vertical movement, and with less buoyancy than the Yoihime Cobra it holds range near the bottom better in steep or fast-current areas.
