Description

The Gamakatsu Range Swimmer Long Cast is a heavyweight jighead from Gamakatsu's Range Swimmer series, built for flatfish fishing on surf beaches and in steep, fast-current areas where extra casting distance is needed. This model is stocked in hook size 4/0 at 35g. Despite its weight, a line-tie positioned slightly forward suppresses excessive bottom contact, allowing anglers to work a range just off the bottom.

Its heavy-duty hook is sized for 5-inch class worms and large flatfish, and a reversible eye lets it be rigged hook-up or hook-down depending on conditions; the eye can also take an assist hook or blade. Gamakatsu recommends pairing it with a small snap such as the Ti Snap Wide for best results.
