Ukimaro Rod & Reel Burakuri UK8017 (うきまろッド＆リールブラクリ) is a compact combo from Gamakatsu's beginner-friendly Ukimaro line, built for burakuri fishing (a still-fishing style worked around tetrapods and breakwaters). A high-sensitivity solid tip is designed to telegraph even small bites clearly to the angler's hand, and the 2-piece, 1.1m rod breaks down small for easy carrying on day trips. It comes matched with the Ukimaro 1000 reel, preloaded with 100m of 3-go line, and a non-slip Ukimaro E.V.A. handle that's easy for children to operate.
