Description
Ukimaro Rod & Reel UK8001-1 (うきまろッド&リール) is a beginner-friendly rod-and-reel combo from Gamakatsu's Ukimaro line, aimed at sabiki and light casting fishing. The 100% glass rod telescopes down in 5 sections for easy storage, and comes matched with the Ukimaro spincast reel, preloaded with 75m of 3-go line so it's ready to fish straight out of the pack. The reel's push-button spincast design lets anglers cast with a simple press-and-release action, and three anti-tangle line plates are included to help prevent tangles.
Weight capacity is 5–8-go (roughly 15–70g) across the line-up, which spans 1.6m (118g), 1.8m (118g), 2.1m (158g) and 2.4m (178g).
