Fish Labo's Riverch (リヴァーチ) 1.6inch is a hand-poured worm downsized from their 2.6inch Riverch, keeping the same continuous deep ribs and two-tone hardness build — a firmer head for hook retention, a softer body-to-tail for natural action — in a bite-sized profile that still reads big in the water. The deep ribs grip and read the current so you can feel the rig's position and action through the line, and the soft, pliable material folds easily when a fish inhales it.

Target species: mebaru and aji (horse mackerel). Rig on a 0.4–1.5g jig head, Carolina rig, split rig, or float rig, and fish it with a straight retrieve or on the fall.

A hand-poured worm with continuous deep ribs and a two-tone hardness build: a firmer head for hook retention and a softer body-to-tail for natural action, reading big in the water for its size.

When to throw it

Aimed at mebaru and aji, where the deep ribs let you feel the rig's position and action through the line as you work it. Most productive around lit areas, breakwaters and harbour structure after dark, when aji and mebaru move up in the water to feed.

How to work it

Rig on a 0.4-1.5 g jig head, Carolina rig, split rig or float rig and fish it with a straight retrieve or on the fall. Keep a taut, slack-free line so you can feel the subtle taps that light-game species give before fully committing to the bait.

7'6 inch-8'6 inch light-game spinning rod, 1500-2000 reel, 3-5 lb PE, 4-6 lb fluorocarbon leader. A soft, sensitive tip helps detect light-game bites while the light line and leader keep the small bait casting properly on light tackle.
