Description

The Unagi Rig (鰻RIG / ウナギリグ) is a pre-tied version of Evergreen's "Bow Worm eel rig" (ボウワームウナギリグ), built to reproduce a long worm's undulating fall and eel-like bottom crawl while cutting down on the fiddly rigging a from-scratch eel rig normally takes. It was the winning rig behind Tomohiro Kobayashi's big bass at the 2017 JB Top 50 Nanashiro Dam event.

Each pack contains 2 pre-tied rigs. The design lets the hook sit near the centre of a long worm for a better hook-up rate, offsets the sinker from the worm's head so it falls at an angle and swims with a natural wiggle, and keeps the sinker on the outside/underside of the worm for a stable, low-centre-of-gravity swim with fewer snags. Components include a swivel to cut line twist, a round-eye sinker keeper for tool-free sinker changes, a wire lock to stop the wire opening under load, a 55lb PE leader (Bassail PE), and a DECOY-made straight hook.
