Description

Deep Sense C (ディープセンスC) is the bait-casting model in Evergreen's Superior Deep Sense line, built for vertical boat ajing (アジング) in deep water. Official name: SPRC-66L/M-S<BOAT> ディープセンスC (バーチカルボートアジングモデル). A spinning counterpart, Deep Sense S (SPRS-66L/M-S<BOAT>), is also offered.

Length is 1.98m in 2 pieces, standard weight 61g, power rated Light/Medium, with a maximum lure weight of 95g (size 25 go) and a recommended PE line of 0.3-1 go. The blank pairs a 0.9mm-tip high-modulus solid tip with a Toray Torayca T1100G-reinforced belly-to-butt section for a light, sharp, high-sensitivity feel meant to carry subtle current changes, rig movement, and even the smallest aji (Japanese horse mackerel) bites back to the angler's hand. Guides are titanium-frame SiC rings at the top and titanium-frame Torzite rings through the tip-to-butt run, downsized one class versus comparable SiC guides, with the top guide and first two guide threads finished in fluorescent pink for visibility. The grip uses a new-format, ultra-light triggerless centre-grip design (Quatro-Cross carbon sleeve plus a small EVA section) for free palming, a Quatro-Cross carbon foregrip, and a minimal EVA end grip. Made in Japan.

Fished by holding a heavy sinker rig near-vertical below the boat, reading small changes in line tension and tip load, and setting the hook the moment a bite registers rather than waiting for a full pull-down.
