Evergreen Last Ace 168

Developed by Takeshi Fukushima as an angler-driven swimbait, the Last Ace 168 is a 168mm jointed hardbait finished with a special lifelike paint scheme and topcoat to capture the sheen of a real baitfish. It weighs approximately 26g excluding the hook, and its bulky, presence-filled profile helps boost casting distance, while a #3 ring/snap size and an EG Treble Magic #2 treble come fitted as standard.

A line-through rigging system lets the hook separate from the body under fight pressure to reduce pulled hooks, and because the line runs through rather than against the body it also limits damage to the bait. Signature actions are twitch-and-jerk style irregular darting — including vertical direction changes — and a high-speed retrieve that creates a surface panic action.
