Description
The Evergreen E.G. Tungsten Bullet Sinker (E.G.タングステンバレットシンカー) was developed with pro angler Morizo Shimizu (清水盛三) for Texas rig fishing. It has three defining features: a built-in knot holder that seats the line knot inside the sinker so it sits flush against the worm without extra rigging steps; a wide-diameter pipe used across every weight, which eases passing heavier lines and PE line through light Texas rigs; and a round-edge, high-strength pipe with a heat-treated tip to reduce line damage and break risk on hard, close-range hooksets.
It comes in ten weights from 2.6g to 21g (2.6, 3.5, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.8, 10.5, 14.0, 17.5, 21.0g) — Evergreen adds a 6g step between the commonly used 5g and 7g for finer adjustment — and each sinker has its weight in grams stamped on the side for quick identification in a tackle box. The product is FECO eco-tackle certified and legal for JB and NBC tournament use.

FAQ
How does PE rating convert to pounds?
Only approximately. A common rule of thumb is PE size × 10 ≈ breaking strain in pounds, but it varies by brand and braid construction — check the maker's own lb or kg rating on the listing.
Are hook and jig head sizes the same across brands?
No — sizes aren't standardised between Japanese makers. Size to the lure you're rigging and check the brand's own size chart; the measurements on the listing are the honest reference.
The colour looks slightly different from my last spool — is that normal?
Yes. Dye batches on braid and finishes on painted heads vary between production runs. It's cosmetic and doesn't change the spec.
How does small tackle ship?
Packed in Japan and sent with tracked international shipping, same as everything else. Small items still get a tracking number; delivery time varies by destination.
Why buy JDM line specifically?
Japanese line makers in the JAFTMA industry group publish tight diameter and strength tolerances, and member brands are measured against them. Check each listing's spec — that's a per-brand claim, not a blanket promise.
