Description
The Astraia Shallow 99F is the dedicated shallow-running version of the Astraia 99F-SSR, developed to work the 0-20cm range. It shares the same 99mm length, 12g weight, Gamakatsu SP-MH #4 hook and #3 split ring as the SSR model.
Its roll-dominant 3:7 wobble-to-roll action makes the most of the flash thrown by the faceted body, keeping fish from becoming wary while holding a comfortable surface-hugging range — even on a down-and-cross retrieve, in strong current, or on a fast retrieve. It casts as far as the 99F-SSR, letting anglers cover a wide area without putting fish on alert.
