The Da-Metal Vibration is a compact metal vibration bait with a fish-fin element near the centre of the body that catches water resistance on the retrieve, sharpening the vibration feel. The fin also corrects the head-heavy balance typical of basic metal vibration lures, so it hooks fish reliably even for less experienced anglers.

When to throw it

A straightforward, high-cost-performance option for searching open water and covering distance quickly, useful whenever bass are feeding on baitfish through mid-water and a fast, easy-to-work reaction bait is needed. It also works well as a follow-up bait after a more aggressive lure has pulled fish in but failed to draw a solid take.

How to work it

Cast and count down to the target depth, then retrieve steadily to feel the vibration; yo-yoing it back with a lift-and-fall retrieve also works well through the water column. Vary the cadence between casts, since the retrieve that draws strikes can change through the day as fish activity shifts.

The setup it likes
