Description

Daiwa Heartland Liberalist (ハートランドリベラリスト) is a multi-species lure rod series designed by angler Haruhiko Murakami as a versatile tool rather than a species-specific rod, built with a thick-walled, slim-body regular-slow taper. It covers freshwater largemouth bass, trout and catfish alongside saltwater seabass, small pelagics, rockfish, flounder and egi (squid) fishing.

The series uses SVF Nanoplus high-density carbon, the X45 Full Shield 45-degree carbon bias-cross structure, a nano-alloy V-Joint α ferrule, and a carbon Air Sensor Seat reel seat, with a Mega Top R high-elastic solid carbon tip on select models. Listed models include the 803ML+RS-25 spinning rod (2.44m, 140g, 4-30g lure, PE max 1.5, for freshwater bass casting and strong river trout or saltwater egi, seabass and light jigging) and the interchangeable-butt 671/701L+RB-SP 26 (2.01m/2.13m, 118g/148g, 7-18g lure, max jig 150g, for medium plugs, wire baits and roughly 120g jig work).
