Description
The Heartland HL 722MLRSS-24 lengthens the classic "Hamaspi" (Hama Spinning Special) by 4 inches to 7ft2in for improved casting distance, while carrying the design forward with modern materials. It measures 2.18m across two center-cut sections, weighs 99g, and is built from 100% carbon with a 1.6/9.4mm tip/butt diameter.
It is rated for 4-6lb nylon or 0.5-1.0 PE leader with lure weights of 1.8-7g, suited to light rigs, down-shot, jig heads and no-sinker presentations cast from the bank. The blank is designed to retain the original Hamaspi's casting feel and accuracy despite the added length, so hook-ups still bend through cleanly.
