ハートランド 6102MLFS-19 (HEARTLAND 6102MLFS-19) belongs to Daiwa's HEARTLAND (SPINNING MODELS) line, built under the series concept “至福の安らぎ。ハートランドなひと時。” (“blissful, unhurried moments by the water”). Nicknamed 冴掛 (Saegake), this model revives the slim, thick-walled tubular power slim blank and fast, hook-set-oriented action of the original Saegake — a taper Daiwa says had become rare in more recent HEARTLAND rods.

The blank is built in HVF NANOPLUS carbon with X45 and 3DX reinforcement not fitted to the original Saegake, which suppresses twist and power loss while speeding up the blank's rebound after loading for a faster swing speed. Daiwa describes the result as blending the original Saegake's suppleness with added rigidity, for a different feel from its predecessor. The joint uses Daiwa's V-JOINT construction.
