Description

The 26 Seaborg (26シーボーグ) is Daiwa's offshore electric reel series, available in 500J, 300J and 300JL sizes. Daiwa's official product page describes an aluminium JOG Power Lever for one-hand thumb-operated clutch and retrieve control, MAGSEALED ball bearings that keep water and debris out while preserving spin performance, and a smooth, continuously-effective ATD drag. The reel supports DAIWA CONNECTED smartphone setup and is built for offshore mid-depth bottom fishing, jigging, live bait and squid fishing.

The drivetrain

An aluminium JOG Power Lever gives one-hand thumb control over clutch and retrieve, so the angler can manage drop and retrieve speed without letting go of the rod, backed by a smooth, continuously effective ATD drag.

What it's built for

For offshore electric-assisted bottom fishing, jigging, live bait and squid fishing, where repeated drops to depth make manual cranking tiring over a full day.

How it fishes

MAGSEALED ball bearings keep water and debris out while preserving spin performance, and DAIWA CONNECTED smartphone setup helps dial in retrieve speed for the target depth and species.

Spools and spares

Pair with a boat rod rated for electric reel use, PE line sized to the target species, and a fluorocarbon leader suited to bottom structure.

How is it priced?

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 5 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
