Blazeye REVOROOK 99S BRIGHTRACER

REVOROOK 99S BRIGHTRACER (レヴォルーク99S ブライトレイサー) is the glow colourway of Blazeye's REVOROOK 99S, the flagship all-species sinking pencil in the REVOROOK line, built to fly well, swim well and fall clean. A flat belly gives a wide, flashing roll on the horizontal fall, and a vibration fall throws a hard side-to-side flash to draw fish from a distance. The figure-8 rings use the same 1.2mm thick-shaft wire as the EVOROOTS series for extra strength, and the standard #4 ring is rated for hooks up to size #1.

The BRIGHTRACER body is ABS moulded with an original blend of night-glow resin kneaded directly into the plastic, so the body itself is phosphorescent — flying through the dark "like a tracer bullet." Because the glow comes from the material rather than a coating, it keeps working even where paint has worn off from surf or rock use. The blend gives a soft, semi-translucent glow like that of squid, shellfish or small baitfish with photophores. It is built for night games for surf tachiuo (largehead hairtail) and flatfish, as well as seabass, pelagic species (aomono) and oonibe.
