Berkley Gulp! Isome Gokubuto 4

The Gulp! Saltwater Isome Gokubuto 4inch is the extra-thick ("gokubuto") addition to Berkley's Japan-market Gulp! Saltwater Isome range, launched alongside the existing Hosomi (slim) and Futomi (thick) sizes to give a bulkier body for a wider range of target fish. Like the rest of the range, it is made with Berkley's reformulated Gulp! Formula scent and flavour blend, which Berkley states softened the material and improved catch rates by around 30% in its own testing versus the previous formula.

Berkley's official listing names flounder, flatfish, seabass, greenling, rockfish, mebaru and larger aji among the target species suited to the bigger profile. It is supplied in six official Berkley colourways, in refreshed Japanese-language packaging that opens without needing to cut the top off the bag.
